I'm trying to stay sane during quarantine.
How are you holding up?
I'm finding more and more recipes to put together. Cheap, efficient, and yet delicious. I'm not going to lie, it's hard. Especially trying to find recipes that kids will like. At this point I've discovered you can make the best meal, but they still want Goldfish for dinner (chips, not the fish).
To all the adults out there who like to have a little beer with their food, what about a beer in your food? Maybe both at this point!
Slow Cooked Pot Roast
1 can Fosters beer
2 or 3 pounds of pot roast
1 can chicken broth
1 can of water, using the chicken broth can
1 cinnamon stick
3 bouillon beef cubes
potatoes halved
3/4 cup of macaroni noodles (not cooked)
In a slow cooker, place the pot roast inside the cooker. Place the setting on low heat. Pour the beer, chicken broth, and water over pot roast. Add beef cubes and cinnamon stick.
Allow the roast to cook overnight on low heat. In the morning, add macaroni noodles and halved potatoes.
